The municipal entity Johannesburg Waters was looking for a flexibel but also more or less fully automated solution to digitize their own archive. An SMA product met all their expectations and they decided to purchase four ROBO SCAN V2. The v-shaped book cradle makes sure that the books will be scanned gentle enough. Further the robotic function can be disabled which makes it possible to digitize also problematical books. Moreover flat single sheet originals can be captured too as it is possible to flatted the book cradle to 180 degrees. The ROBO SCAN V2 is the only robotic book scanner in the market that combines als these properties in one unit and consequently was the preferred choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
